Turn on Joomla caching to decrease page load times.

Want to improve your page load times on your Joomla site?

Check to see if you have your Joomla cache on.  Go to your Joomla admin area:

Global Config > System then check the “Yes” box.

Joomla will make a static page out of your contents.  Then when a user access’s your site Joomla will serve up the static page instead of polling the database, thus saving precious milliseconds from your users experience.

Every little bit counts.  :)
